Flood Recovery Grants for Small Business

Parts of New South Wales and Queensland have been declared natural disaster zones as a result of the floods over the last week. We are thinking of the impacted communities and the many small businesses who have experienced damage to their premises, equipment or stock. We are here to provide support.

Funding measures have been announced for small business in both QLD and NSW to support clean-up and begin the journey of recovery and reinstatement.

Special Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants are available to assist directly impacted small businesses with the costs of clean-up and the reinstatement of their business.

Businesses should:

  • Be an eligible applicant (within the declared disaster area).
  • Be able to demonstrate that they have suffered direct damage from the disaster.
  • Take photographs of the direct damage to accompany their application.
  • Save all receipts associated with clean-up for reimbursement (Bunnings, skip hire, clean-up equipment, etc.)

Support varies between NSW and QLD. Please see below for details.

We are ready to help with your application if you need support. We offer a 10% no win, no fee arrangement to prepare your submissions so you can get back on your feet without spending your time on administration tasks.

The QLD Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is moving quickly to open applications for the Disaster recovery funding which will support clean up and reinstatement effort for QLD businesses.

No-win, no-fee

Support is available if your business has been impacted. We can prepare your submission for you on a no-win, no-fee basis for 10% of funding, payable on successful notification.

The NSW Government has enabled flood recovery funding of up to $50,000 for affected small businesses in designated disaster areas.
